Thus, most reliable results with minimum margin of error are produced in association with maximum control and speed.
Single-use materials are used in sampling and analyses and thus, risk of contamination is eliminated.
Quality control is a must to obtain accurate and reliable results in clinical laboratory. Therefore, internal quality control is analyzed for each parameter twice a day in our laboratory to verify accuracy of our data.

- PCR Laboratory
- PCR is the abbreviation of Polymerase Chain Reaction that we heard too much due to coronavirus pandemic; this test is used in medical and biological research. The test identifies presence of a virus in body of a person and the reaction of body to the virus is understood. PCR test played a very important role in suppression of the pandemic by identifying asymptomatic carriers and symptomatic patients in the pandemic; numerous short DNA and RNA copies can be obtained from a very small clinical specimen.
- A specimen taken with a nasal or nasopharyngeal swab is used in PCR tests rather than a blood sample. Swab specimens should be properly collected to produce accurate result.
- Specimens collected from patients, who present to our hospital with Coronavirus suspicion, are carefully analyzed using sensitive measurement methods in our laboratory approved by Ministry of Health and results are reported in same day. You test reports are delivered to you by our physicians and reporting teams strictly in line with confidentiality of patient information and PDPL (Personal Data Protection Law) – rules of processing data.
CLINICAL MICROBIOLOGY
The microorganisms that cause diseases are classified as bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites. In this unit,
- • The microorganisms that cause infection are isolated from clinical specimens in conventional culture tests and antibiotic susceptibility tests that comply with CLSI standards are performed on isolated pathogens.
- • Serological tests help diagnosis of viral and bacterial pathogens (Hepatitis and TORCH markers, syphilis serology, Brucella serology); parasitological tests are also analyzed.
Our laboratory serves our patients 24/7.
